Last Saturday, Worthing was a sell-out, and what a night it was.
Huge thanks to everyone who came along and made it so special. A great crowd, in great voice, exactly what a hometown show should be. Massive thanks to Dom Was for opening the evening with such style, and to Brenock O'Connor and Beth Sarah for joining me on stage for a tune or two.A very special mention to the young artists from Start Me Up! who performed in front of the biggest crowd of their lives and absolutely smashed it. Watching an audience get fully behind them was one of the highlights of my year.More shows to come. Watch this space.

This December, I set off to play 12 free shows for care home residents across Sussex. The 12 Care Homes of Christmas.
This is one of my favourite things I've done. There's something about bringing live music into spaces where people might not get to experience it very often. It strips everything back to what performing is really for.
Huge thanks to all the wonderful staff and residents at every venue who welcomed me so warmly. Same time next year? I think so.

A COLD DECEMBER' — SUBMITTED FOR GRAMMY CONSIDERATION

I'm so incredibly proud to share that 'A Cold December' has been submitted for Song of the Year at The Grammys 2026 — and it's on the ballot alongside Mary J. Blige.
I never could have imagined writing a song that would sit in that company. The track features bass from Guy Pratt (Pink Floyd), cello from Ben Trigg, violin from Marianne Haynes, and was produced by Luke Buttery and mastered by Jason Mitchell.
If you happen to know any Grammy voting members, I'd love the opportunity to present the song for their consideration. In the meantime, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to everyone who has played, shared and believed in this record.

I HITCHHIKED FROM WORTHING TO FRANCE — AND PLAYED A GIG

Hear me out.For the release of my new single 'Navigators', I decided to hitchhike from Worthing to its French twin town, Les Sables d'Olonne, appearing on More Radio at 7:30am before setting off, and hoping to arrive in time to play an impromptu gig in the town square on Saturday 13th September.It took a day longer than planned. But I got there in one piece, performed with the incredible local French artist Judith Charron, and the whole mad adventure even made the local French press.More excitingly, conversations are now underway to bring a group of Worthing artists over to south-west France for a day of live
performances next summer with French acts coming back to Worthing too. Music connecting people across borders. That's what it's all about.
